VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A child was left with serious injuries after a crash involving a pedestrian on South Military Highway in Virginia Beach Wednesday evening, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
On June 24 at around 6:27 p.m., Emergency Communications and Citizen Services received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian in the 700 block of South Military Highway. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a child with life-threatening injuries. First responders transported the child to a local hospital.
This is an active investigation.
