Man arrested after high-speed chase in Monona

MONONA, Wis.— A Madison man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon following a high-speed chase in Monona.

Monona police said a 52-year-old man was traveling over 100 mph in the closed flex lane on the Beltline. An officer with the Monona Police Department initiated a traffic stop and the driver refused and reportedly drove away from the officer.
