Power was largely restored to over 3,500 Entergy customers who woke up without power Wednesday morning in New Orleans after a utility pole wire was downed, according to Entergy’s outage map.
The outage extends through St. Claude Avenue from Elysian Fields Avenue by Marigny to Japonica Street in Bywater. It includes the Bywater and St. Claude areas, with customers between Chartres Street and North Galvez Street losing power.
By 7:45 a.m., the outage was down to 361 customers after about 3,559 customers had been without power before 7 a.m…
