Caddo Fire District No. 4 seeks tax renewal for operations

KEITHVILLE, La. – Caddo Fire District 4 is asking voters to support two funding renewals on Saturday’s ballot that district leaders say are critical to maintaining the fire, EMS, and rescue services residents depend on every day.

District officials stressed the propositions are renewals of existing funding sources—not new taxes. Voter approval would continue the funding currently used to support emergency response, firefighter staffing, ambulances, fire apparatus, rescue equipment, fire hydrant rentals, and station operations.

“Caddo Fire District 4 is proud to provide one of the highest levels of fire, rescue, and emergency medical service in our region,” said Fire Chief Joshua Gamble. “These renewals are not about expanding government or increasing the burden on taxpayers. They are about maintaining the services our citizens already receive and expect when they call 911.”…
