CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Residents living near a proposed natural gas power plant in Linn County pressed public health officials, state regulators, and Alliant Energy on potential health impacts during a public meeting where neighbors could ask questions directly.
The Linn County Board of Supervisors called the meeting for people who live near the proposed Morgan Valley Energy Center near Fairfax. The meeting was intended to outline Linn County Public Health’s role in the process, and no decisions were being made.
