Judge to decide on evidence in Hilda Vasquez’s manslaughter trial

NEW ORLEANS — A court hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning in the case against Hilda Vasquez, the mother charged in connection with the disappearance and death of her 12-year-old son, Bryan Vasquez.

During the hearing, a judge is expected to decide whether child welfare records involving Bryan can be introduced as evidence during Vasquez’s upcoming manslaughter trial.
