Second arrest made in Missouri casino heist of over $1.2 million

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A second man accused of robbing a Missouri casino was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, the FBI says.

Hollis Vanleer Jr. was arrested in Bloomington, Illinois Wednesday after FOX4 reported he had ties to Illinois earlier this month. That report followed an FBI reward of $5,000 for information leading to the accused thief’s arrest.

Before his arrest, Vanleer Jr., of Normal, Illinois, was charged with first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and first-degree assault in Cooper County court.
