Las Vegas considers ‘alcohol to go’ delivery ordinance

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas is among the latest Nevada cities to consider an “alcohol to go” ordinance and are working to get feedback from local businesses to move forward.

The latest efforts come a year after the “Alcohol to Go” Bill, Assembly Bill 375 was passed. The bill allows delivery of mixed drinks through popular delivery services and apps.

The bill also mandates a range of safeguards: any mixed drinks must be in a sealed container. Each purchase would require verification of customer I.D. and age, and all delivery drivers must have an “alcohol education card,” known in Nevada as a TAM card…
