Stolen gun, suspected oxycodone, cash found in Kalamazoo man’s vehicle

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 24-year-old man is in custody after officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) said they found he had multiple guns, suspected narcotics, and cash believed to be connected to drug sales.

Police were in the area of Bosker Avenue near Cobb Avenue just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after some neighbors previously reached out to the department complaining of drug activity and other quality-of-life concerns, according to KDPS.
