ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The City of Rochester says no progress has been made on the Wyndham Hotel on State Street in downtown.
Earlier this month, the city issued an emergency order requiring the hotel shutdown due to fire and safety violations. According to the fire marshal, there were multiple safety hazards, including locked emergency exit doors and no working central air conditioning.
