Texas Parks and Wildlife designates Lake Meredith as ‘infested’ with zebra mussels

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) announced Thursday it has designated Lake Meredith as “infested” with invasive zebra mussels.

The department says in late May, microscopic zebra mussel larvae was detected in samples from three areas of the lake.
