RAVENNA – A Portage County grand jury has indicted four people in connection with a June 12 fight at a winery on Berlin Lake that left a co-owner with severe head injuries.
Court records show that Eric Blose, 48, of Sandyville, faces multiple charges, including two counts of felonious assault, one count of aggravated riot, and one count of misdemeanor assault. The indictment alleges that Blose caused serious physical harm to a man, identified in earlier reports as winery co-owner David Wilson. The documents also state that Blose used a barstool as a weapon during the confrontation at Cove W Winery in Deerfield Township.
The three other individuals indicted by the grand jury are Gaven Blose, 20, of Louisville; Jessica L. Shupe, 49, of Louisville; and Devin L. Knepp, 21, of Canton. Each face one count of aggravated riot and one count of misdemeanor assault.
