TWINSBURG, Ohio — Facing questions about why the Twinsburg Board of Education is spending $1.7 million to renovate Tiger Stadium while cutting expenses after two failed operating levies, school officials said Wednesday the project is being paid for with money that legally cannot be used for teachers, salaries or other day-to-day operating costs.
Business Manager Matt Strickland and Treasurer Julia Rozsnyai explained at a board meeting the difference between the district’s general operating fund and its permanent improvement fund.
