Charleston Animal Society seeks homes for 250 animals for America’s 250th anniversary

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, the Charleston Animal Society has officially announced its “250 for 250” adoption campaign, seeking homes for 250 animals.

“We have set a community-wide goal to find loving homes for 250 animals, encouraging everyone to mark America`s 250th anniversary by giving a second chance to a shelter animal,” said Charleston Animal Society Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Aldwin Roman, CAWA. “As your pet grows, you will always remember the year you adopted him or her!”

The Charleston Animal Society is offering a special promotional rate: all animal adoptions (except puppies) will be reduced to just $25 now through July 3rd, 2026…
