An armed suspect was arrested after Kern County Sheriff’s deputies engaged him in a standoff on the 100 block of Shattuck Avenue Thursday evening.
Few details were available from the KCSO Friday, but it was confirmed deputies were sent to the house about 7 p.m. for a report of an armed man causing a disturbance.
