Investigation underway after body found in diversion canal in Berkeley County

CROSS, S.C. (WCIV) — An investigation is underway in Berkeley County after a body was found floating in a diversion canal in Cross.

According to a release from the county corner, officials responded to the scene of a possible drowning at approximately 6:55 a.m. The coroner identified the individual as Terry Settle, a 66-year-old from North Carolina.
