First Alert Forecast: Comfortable to start, dangerous heat on the way

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Showers and clouds will keep your Friday cool, if a bit gloomy at times into the afternoon. Showers will be once again in a very widely scattered fashion, with the highest coverage south of Fort Wayne as a larger weather system moves to our south. Saturday looks to be our final day in the 70s for quite a while, with highs in the upper 70s under partly sunny skies.

Our comfortable weather pattern finally begins to fade on Sunday, with highs into the middle 80s under mostly sunny skies. Humidity will start to become noticeable by late in the day, marking a sign of things to come to start the work week…
