Fort Wayne, Ind. (WANE) – A man is dead after an early morning shooting in Fort Wayne’s southeast side.
The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the intersection of Eckart Street and Weisser Park Avenue at 12:47 a.m. on Saturday after receiving a 911 call reporting that a person had been shot.
On the scene, police found a man who had been shot, lying in the street. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
