SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — A child died and an adult was injured following an apparent dog attack Saturday morning in Dorchester County, authorities said.
Deputies with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office responded around 7:28 a.m. to the 100 block of Chemistry Circle in Summerville after receiving a report of an active disturbance.
When deputies arrived, they found an adult and a child suffering from injuries consistent with a dog attack, according to the sheriff’s office. Initial reports indicate that multiple dogs may have been involved. Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment…
