Off-duty DOE employee arrested on Staten Island, police say

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An off-duty Department of Education employee was arrested Saturday on Staten Island and charged with driving without a license, according to the NYPD.

Julian Wells, 46, was taken into custody around 12:35 p.m. within the confines of the 120th Precinct, the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information wrote in a statement.
