CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The $275 million Cedar Crossing Casino is six months away from its projected New Year’s Eve opening, and at least one neighboring business said it is ready.
CR Midnight Smoker BBQ sits next to the casino construction site. Owner Greg Stoll said business has not slowed during the build.
“I’m excited for the whole thing to get finished. The street, the casino, the whole section of town here,” Stoll said. “I’m excited to see how this goes in the next five to ten years. Just to watch this whole thing develop and turn into a new section of town.”…
