IOWA CITY, Iowa– Jan Jensen refuses to sacrifice culture, and that’s one of the reasons Iowa has been one of the more consistent programs in the country over the past several years. It has been an offseason of turnover for Iowa as the Hawkeyes lost Addison Deal, Teagan Mallegni, Kennise Johnson, Callie Levin and Emely Rodriguez via the transfer portal. They also said goodbye to seniors Kylie Feuerbach, Hannah Stuelke and Taylor McCabe.
Roster turnover is the cold reality of modern-day college athletics, but it’s not something that Iowa fears. The Hawkeyes simply put a plan into action, execute it and move forward with the people who embrace what being a Hawkeye is all about.
