1-on-1 with Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg stopped by the WAVE studio. He came to share what the city is doing to curb issues in the club district on Bardstown Rd., and to discuss major infrastructure projects including I-65.

On the issue of Bardstown Road, the Mayor says the city is taking an “every angle” approach to curb late-night violence and disruptive crowds in the club corridor of the Highlands neighborhood.

In a one-on-one interview, Greenberg said responsibility ultimately “lies with individuals,” but the city is stepping up enforcement through LMPD’s Summer Task Force, ABC, and help from the sheriff’s office. He also said an arrest has been made tied to a recent incident and that the city is cracking down on bar owners who aren’t following the rules…
