Happy Valley Illegal Fireworks Amnesty Program Ends This Week

HAPPY VALLEY, OR – The city of Happy Valley is offering residents a chance to anonymously dispose of illegal fireworks ahead of the Fourth of July holiday through its annual Fireworks Amnesty Drop-Off program.

The city is partnering with the Happy Valley Police Department, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and community members to run the program from June 29 through July 3. Drop-offs will be accepted daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Happy Valley Community Policing Center, 12915 SE King Rd.

Officials say residents can dispose of illegal fireworks in a clearly marked receptacle near the front entrance. No questions will be asked and no identifying information will be collected…
