BARBERTON, Ohio – The city of Barberton will transition building code enforcement services to the Summit County Division of Building Standards beginning Aug. 1.
Barberton City Council approved the agreement on May 26, and Summit County Council approved the agreement on Monday. Under the agreement, Summit County Building Standards will manage plan review, permitting and inspection services for all residential and non-residential construction projects in Barberton.
