Update at 2:45 p.m.: PG&E crews have restored power to 208 customers in the Copperopolis area of Calaveras County out of the 285 who originally lost power around 9:15 a.m. The outage runs along Highway 4, including a portion of the Copperopolis Town Square, which is still impacted. The utility says crews found the cause to be third-party damage, and they are making repairs.
Currently, 77 customers remain without electricity. The initial outage repair time was 1:45 p.m., which has been pushed by the company to 7:30 p.m.
