I have been on a tear for the past couple of years about all the delays in getting the Knight Street project done in Shreveport.
Well it is finished. It took almost two years. But there is a problem. The sidewalk is not complete. It is finished on the east side of Knight Street. The sidewalk runs from Preston Street all the way to Shreveport Barksdale Highway. It’s really needed on that side of the road because that’s where a lot of apartment complexes area and there are always folks walking to and from the Walmart.
