Land is still selling well. Once again, there isn’t much farmland on the market this summer, but there are some high-quality farms coming onto the market this fall. There are still more buyers than sellers, making it a good year to sell.

Panhandle
Garden County. A total of 159.59 acres sold for $1,785.83 per acre, or a total of $285,000. An excellent dryland quarter with superior soils, it is presently farmed with about half in wheat and half in fallow. Merrick County. A total of 78.08 acres sold for $9,925.72 per acre, or a total of $775,000. This well-managed Platte Valley irrigated farm is located near Central City, Neb. Lancaster County. A total of 124.06 acres sold for $18,499.11 per acre, or a total of $2,295,000. This farm is transitional development land on the southeast side of Lincoln, Neb.
