Bellevue teen back in jail after weapons found during probation check

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A Bellevue teenager is back in jail after a First Alert 6 investigation revealed behavior while on probation.

Wyatt Bolita, 19, allegedly pointed a gun at a conservation officer, which started a high-speed pursuit. One lawman says the defendant has shown the need for more intense supervision.

From one jail to another

Out of Douglas County jail on a low bond, Bolita is headed to Sarpy County Corrections for alleged probation violations. The Metro Fugitive Task Force arrested Bolita for allegedly violating the terms of his probation.

Bolita had been convicted of misdemeanor flight to avoid arrest in Sarpy County just weeks before allegedly pointing a gun at a conservation officer and leading him on a pursuit in Douglas County.

While riding a motorcycle recklessly in Two Rivers State Park, Bolita allegedly pulled a gun and pointed it at a Nebraska conservation officer driving behind him. That initiated a pursuit and arrest in a cornfield…
