Louisville’s Planning & Zoning Committee is weighing a proposed temporary pause on approvals for data centers and “telecommunication hotels” across the city.
According to the committee’s June 16 agenda, Ordinance O-135-26 would halt rezonings, conditional use permits, and certain development plan applications for those facility types — pending a review and recommended changes by the Planning Commission.
The item was postponed on June 2, and the council has until November 14 to act before the legislation expires.
