Door County drowning claims life of Ohio man

GIBRALTAR, Wis. (WFRV) — The Door County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to an unresponsive 48-year-old man in Nicolet Bay on the afternoon of July 1.

According to a Facebook post, multiple emergency responders brought the man to the shore and attempted life-saving measures before transporting him to a hospital.

Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead after arriving. It was determined that the man’s cause of death was drowning.
