HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – On Thursday, police were assisting Area Planning at Inland Marina when near the boat docks, they were notified of dogs left on a boat.
According to a media report, the temperature outside was 95 degrees and the left side of the boat was in direct sunlight. Officers were told the owner had left early in the morning and the dogs had been in there for some time.
Witnesses stated you could smell the odor of urine and feces before getting on the boat. Officers stated they could smell the odor before crossing from the deck to the boat dock…
