LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A local wildlife center rescued an extremely rare bird this week.
The Raven Ridge Wildlife Center announced that it received a call about a white bird that was found injured under a car, attempting to drink water. The animal was placed in a box and transported to the wildlife center.
The wildlife center said that it has been taking in distressed and unusually behaving animals recently due to the ongoing heatwave, so they can be examined for heat exhaustion if necessary…
