A quick response from multiple agencies helped bring a boat taking on water safely back to shore on Friday morning off Walnut Creek.

Crews from Lake City, Fairview Lake Shore, West Lake and Millcreek fire departments and the U.S. Coast Guard responded, boarded the boat and began dewatering it before escorting it safely back to Walnut Marina.
