The America 250 art exhibit at Henderson County Public Library

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – America will celebrate its 250th birthday this weekend.

Throughout the Tri-State, fireworks, food, music and games will be available for families. In Henderson, an art exhibit graces the walls of the Henderson County Public Library to honor the country.

For artist Rex Robinson, painting “Prayer For America” was more than just another project – it serves as a love letter to the country.

Robinson says, “I love America. And I love so many incredible things about it, especially how God has guided us through history… The process and the excitement of painting. I did have a lot of ideas to start with. I was definitely going to have the blue moon up there.”…
