Fayette County school board asked to approve new annual auditor for estimated $131,750

Trying to work through revelations that district staff had misstated finances for years, the Fayette County Board of Education will be asked at a Monday meeting to approve a contract with a new company for its annual required audit.

Agenda documents say the contract is not to exceed $131,750 plus $225 per hour for ancillary or supplementary services.
