Kenny Brooks has put together a more than compelling team for Kentucky’s 2026-27 season. Entering his third year behind the wheel, Brooks is still looking to replicate his past tournament successes in Lexington beyond the second round. Yet, as he continues to improve in the present, the Cats head coach is looking well beyond for some star-studded insurance for the future, too.
In a surprise commitment ahead of the holiday weekend, four-star center Jayden McClain has committed to Kentucky in the class of 2029, per KSR. It’ll be a while before we see her take the floor, but the 6-foot-6 big is already one of the biggest early risers in women’s hoops.
