Today in History – July 3: Fund established to help find missing Omaha man

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Family and friends of Jason Jolkowski established a fund for information leading to his whereabouts after he went missing in 2001, and the case remains unsolved.

Jolkowski was 19 years old when he disappeared. He told his father he was leaving his home near 48th and Pinkney streets to meet a co-worker at Benson High School for a ride to work. He was never seen again.

The FBI has an alert out for his case. Omaha Police have also released Jolkowski’s photo from 2001, along with an age-progression image showing how he might look today…
