COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Hours before the first fireworks lit up the sky, downtown Columbus was already packed as hundreds of thousands of people arrived early to secure the best views for Red, White & Boom.
The annual Independence Day tradition drew families, friends and visitors from across Ohio and beyond, many setting up for an all-day celebration before the evening fireworks display.
