MURFREESBORO, TN (WGNS) – A stubborn line of thunderstorms rolled across Rutherford County Friday afternoon and evening, washing out Main Street Murfreesboro’s long‑planned Friday Night Live concert and delaying the public dedication of the new America 250 Mural Mosaic. Lightning flickered across the historic square as rain soaked the greenspace beside Shacklett’s Photography, where the 8‑by‑16‑foot patriotic artwork now hangs.
