BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. (WJBF) — The Batesburg-Leesville Police Department is investigating a double homicide after a shooting shortly after midnight Sunday in the 500 block of Solomon Street.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire and arrived to find a large group gathered in the area. Three people were found with gunshot wounds. Two were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim was taken by Lexington County EMS to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
