Philadelphia Raises Income Limits for Three Property Tax Relief Programs, Expanding Eligibility

If you applied for property tax relief in Philadelphia and got turned away because your household income was just above the cutoff, it may be worth trying again.

The City of Philadelphia’s Department of Revenue has raised the income limits for three of its major property tax relief programs. The new caps are aligned with HUD’s 2026 Income Limits guide, and residents who were previously denied solely for slightly exceeding the old thresholds are explicitly encouraged to reapply.
