Authorities say two people are dead in a shooting that also wounded a third person at a large gathering in Batesburg-Leesville early Sunday morning.
The Batesburg-Leesville Police Department said officers responded to the 500 block of Solomon Street just after midnight to reports of a shooting.
Arriving officers found a crowd gathered in the area and three victims with gunshot wounds, two of whom were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim was taken to an area hospital by EMS for injuries police believe were not life-threatening…
