Three people were injured after two boats collided on Chautauqua Lake in Mayville on Saturday.
According to a news releases from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the area of Prendergast Boulevard for a reported crash involving two boats on the Fourth of July. One boat was carrying three people, while the other had five people on board.
The Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol, the County Water Emergency Team North Lake Fire Department, Chautauqua Fire Department, and County EMS all responded to the scene.
Three victims were injured in the collision and taken to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment. One of those patients was later flown to UPMC Hamot with non-life-threatening injuries…
