According to the Franklin Police Department, officers responded to multiple reports shortly after 11 p.m. on June 30 of people kicking and striking the front doors of occupied homes near Chestnut Lane and Liberty Park before running away. The incidents are believed to be connected to the viral “Door Kick Challenge,” in which participants record themselves kicking or pounding on strangers’ front doors before fleeing.
