Man arrested in Decatur St shooting that wounded 4, including child

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was arrested Sunday following a shooting on Decatur Street that wounded four people, including a child, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

Tyler Boyer, 34, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at around 4:45 p.m. July 5, sheriff’s officials said. He is being held on $2 million bail, records show.

KCSO said deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 200 block of Decatur Street around 1:40 a.m. earlier that day.
