CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – New court documents provide more details about the arrest of Darius Chappell, the Montgomery County man who died in custody days after being bitten by a Clarksville police K-9.
According to the arrest report, deputies saw a white Chevrolet Tahoe parked at the Burger King on Fort Campbell Boulevard at about 11:30 a.m. on June 29. Investigators said the registered owner, Darius Chappell, had an active felony warrant for violation of parole.
