New European-inspired café to open in Columbus at Highside Market

A new culinary tenant is moving into Highside Market in Columbus.

Bloom, a European-inspired pâtisserie and café, is set to open in the downtown market space around Labor Day weekend, Highside Market announced Monday.

The café, founded by Columbus entrepreneur Ritesh Mali, will serve French and Italian pastries, light lunches inspired by Southern and European cuisines and beverages including loose-leaf tea and a summer cocktail favorite, botanical spritzes.

“Bloom will bridge the gap between a premium European patisserie and a warm Southern neighborhood café,” Highside Market said in a news release…
