FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — A townhome fire in Franklin on Sunday night has displaced the residents in all 12 units, according to the Franklin Fire Department.
The fire was reported at around 7 p.m. Sunday, July 5, the department said in a release. When firefighters arrived, they found a two-story townhome building on Brockton Place with heavy smoke and flames from from the roof.

Firefighters then initiated an “aggressive attack” of the flames, successfully containing the fire after it spread from the exterior into the attic above two end-unit townhomes.
A portion of the roof reportedly collapsed during the incident, but FFD said no firefighters were injured, and they were able to rescue a dog from one of the affected units…
