COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A Columbus man is dead after police found him shot in a yard in the Hilltop section of the city.
Police said officers responded to a call for a shooting on the 100 block of Haldy Avenue at approximately 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
At the scene, officers said they found the victim, identified as Demiceo Thompson, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Thompson was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:23 a.m. Monday.
